Memphis wide receiver Anthony Miller has been named a first team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association. Miller is just the third player in school history to earn first team honors from the AFGA, joining former running back DeAngelo Williams and punter Tom Hornsey.

Lausanne running back Eric Gray has been named Gatorade player of the year for the state of Tennessee. Gray Fran for 3,151 yards in 13 games while leading Lausanne to a second straight state title.
