Yes, we had a full house in the 88.5FM studios yesterday!
First we had Marvella Sherman & Brenda Smith on to talk about the Soles4Souls Shoe Drive and Fall Extravaganza that will be taking place tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 6105 Apple Tree Drive. They are asking you to donate new or gently worn shoes to help impoverished children in 127 countries. There will be food, music, a bounce house for the children, and a silent auction. All the proceeds will go to “Kure It” to support cancer research.
We also had Tra Niece Sue Aul (student) from SCS to come by and help out with traffic and the daily motivational thought. She is well on her way to fulfilling her dreams of becoming a Broadcaster! She did a great job on the air yesterday…she is a natural!
