MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies are planning to retire the Number 50 jersey worn by Zach Randolph. He spend eight seasons with the Grizzlies but has is joining the Sacramento Kings as a free agent. Majority owner Robert Pera says in a tweet on the Grizzlies’ official account that Number 50 “will never be worn by another member of the Memphis Grizzlies.”
In another development, Grizzlie free agent Vince Carter has signed to play for the Sacramento Kings.
